So after nearly 2 1/2 years, we have returned home. It was a last-minute and stressful time but we couldn’t leave it any longer. We needed a family fix! Booking one thing at a time, just in case one of us tested positive we left Koh Tao on the morning ferry and went straight to a clinic on Samui to get our rapid covid PCR tests done. Thankfully we both testing negative, so we booked our flights, car hire, and here are a few photos of our journey home.

Jenny, Simon & Cuthbert

It’s been a full-on month. Simon has been working constantly on the new ‘The Coral Tribe’ website which has only just gone live. So we have a trusted few, looking and advising if there are any mistakes, etc.

I am a bit useless when it comes to website stuff, so been doing what I can. I’m lucky to have 3 students at the moment, so it’s been pretty full-on with courses and diving. They are all really lovely and they have bonded well together.

I feel bad sometimes that I’m the one that’s always diving but Simon did dive a couple of days ago, the first time in a month, and saw a Whale Shark, so I was happy, he was rewarded.

Since our departure from Eco Koh Tao we really do feel as though a weight has been lifted and we are much happier.
