Since we returned from Samui, both Jen and I have been busy.

Jenny has been organising Eco. answering losts of queries and going out on dive site clean ups and deploying some structures at Junkyard.

I have been helping Steve teach 2 Hungarian students how to video underwater. Its a 2 week course and an intensive learning curve. They have both finished Part 1 and now move on to the Professional part of the course. It was nice of them to see a turtle (their 1st ever) on the last dive of Part 1 and hopefully they managed to capture some good footage.

In other not so good news. I have just finished all the UK work that I have been working on for the last 2 months and received an email to say that the company went into administration a couple of days ago. This basically means that I may never get paid for the work I have been doing. It puts a bit of pressure on me, but ever hopeful, I am sure something will turn up. There is always work at Tescos!! 🙂

This morning, I took some time away from the dive school to make some stuff ready for Xmas… Jenny helped me with Pickled Beetroot, Pickled Onions, and Pickled Eggs (some with Chilli)… Now we have some time to wait for them to brew!

I also tried to make some bread for the 2nd time…. Still not great…. any advice is much appreciated.

17th September 2015

Well I’m a year older but I can’t say whether I am any wiser!   😀    LOL

Thank you to everyone for all my Birthday wishes, cards & pressies.  I was very spoilt.

On the 15th, Simon and I went to Koh Samui to extend our visa’s for another month, so that was good to get that out the way but what Simon hadn’t told me was that he’d, booked us a couple of nights in a snazzy hotel.

The weather wasn’t great but that didn’t put us off making the most of the hotel facilities.

Simon left me to unpack while he popped to the shops for bubbly & snacks.  It wasn’t long before he returned with a bag of goodies and we both enjoyed the delights of our plunge pool 😀  ..which was a tad cold.

After relaxing for most of the day, I opened my cards and little prezzies!

Then we headed out in the evening to Bophut (Fisherman’s village) and tried out a new Italian restaurant  ‘The Godfather’ which we’ve heard good things about.  We were not disappointed. It was Pizza all round, and we were absolutely stuffed when we left to return to the hotel for another dip in our plunge pool before a nice sleep in some super cool air conditioning.

The next morning, we were up early to enjoy breakfast and chilling out, before heading into Chaweng to do some shopping, which was pretty unsuccessful. We ended up heading back to the hotel with nothing but a packet of cheese for Steve.

The next day it was packing time and off back to Koh Tao….

This is the new office.  Basically it’s Steve’s apartment and I’ve got an area for ECO  …which is cool ..in fact it’s not cool it’s like an oven in there 😀

Today, I got my toenails painted!  They were bright orange, then green and this is supposed to be a sunny yellow.  To make me cheery!!  LOL
