All is well here on thunder stormy Koh Tao.
Si’s been very busy for the last week or so with online work which he shares with 2 other people. Sometimes due to the work, language, inexperience of editing, it’s more work for Simon but it’ll hopefully even out ;-D
I’ve been keeping busy organising citizen science mornings (microplastic surveys, snorkel clean ups, dive clean up, water testing) with my gang of Eco volunteers which are all around my age, they like Eco and it gets them out and keeps them occupied. When I think of it, they’d be doing sod all if it wasn’t for me. So that makes me feel very good ;-D

I’ve also had a couple of crafty afternoons, making bits and pieces out of some sea glass and driftwood.

Last week, I organised a Dive Clean-up. There were 15 of us in total. We headed out from shore to do what turned out to be a very shallow dive indeed. Between us, we managed to collect nearly 35kg of debris in an hour. The debris was then sorted into types and quantities which I later submitted the data online so that information can be used to potentially help drive long-term change to address the marine debris issue.

As a reward, everyone got a free glass of iced tea and a slice of banana cake. So well worth it LOL
We went for our first hike in ages last Sunday. It was my idea, so around mid-day, we tootled off up the road to Aow Leuk Bay to get some exercise and collect sea glass. I’m very good at going for cycles and walks in the mid-day sun. Simon loved every moment …NOT!!

Love and hugs to everyone!
MISS YOU!! XXX
