Oz Day 11 camper

Today, we went diving again!! For the 1st time in nearly 4 weeks…. how lovely…

The conditions were a bit different from what we have been used to… Temperature was 14 degrees instead of our usual 30 degree… As you can see from the pics, we were well wrapped up!

This was an unusual dive, since it was in an aquarium! I can hardly call it a dive, since we were just weighed down so we could waddle along the floor… the footage shown is all we could get since I was not given permission to film… Gits!

Good fun though…. !

Oz Day 10 camper

Today, we headed back into Sydney for a whale watching trip.

It was so choppy that I was unable to film due to the waves splashing over us. It was also very choppy and there was a shedload of pukers onboard!

Anyway, 4 hours of choppy water and pukers, and we saw some whales… Not super spectacular (cos I wasn’t diving with them!) but nice.

One whale breached the water, just like the example photo above… That was pretty cool.

Then we returned to a camper for more study…

Oz Day 9 camper

Today we travelled into Sydney from our caravan site, which is as near as we can get to the city centre (17km North of it).

We all know that public transport is a pain, but it took us 2 hours to reach the city centre! A bus for 45 mins, then wait for a ferry, and when it arrived, another 30 minute journey.

Once there we visited the Sydney Opera house, and the Sydney harbour bridge before walking miles around the city.

It is another big city and although its nice seeing famous icons of our world… I am still left with a feeling of island syndrome !! (Its been a month and still not adjusting!!!).

We are based here for another 4 days until Jen completes her exam. We are going to see if we can get on a whale watching boat tomorrow, and organise a shark dive at an aquarium… SWEET!

By the way guys, these photos that are uploaded are clickable to enlarge… in case you didn’t know!
